Forever Memories and New Additions

It's been a while since I've posted on this little ol' blog but things are winding down with school, and I have a bit of extra time on my hands I'm pretending that I have nothing to do with my life. It seems like a lot of things have changed since the last time I posted. My hubby got a new job (woot woot) but we also lost the dog I got when I was a junior at UNC-G. She was my best friend, and it was just the two of us for a while. When my husband and I started dating he joked he was only in for the dog... I guess I can't blame him she was one amazing pup!

How could you not love that adorable face ?!?

This was such a tragic lost and my life felt so empty without my Pekingese love we I decided to get another one right away :) It only took my mom and me about a day to find someone with puppies!

*Enter Gracie*

Then, a week later the hubs decided Gracie needed a friend since our large dog wouldn't play with her.

*Enter Lillie*

So now here we are, a few weeks before summer, in the middle of my final graduate class for my Master's degree with two puppies who still don't sleep all night!

But yet again .. how can you resist these adorable faces !

Out with the Old, In with the New

With a new degree almost complete (woot), and a new business opportunity that is starting off well (double woot) I felt like it was time for a new blog design. I'm in love with this chevron almost as much as I'm in love with It Works

There isn't much else going on, other than laundry and dishes and all that other mess that happens on the daily. I just wanted to stop by introduce the new blog :) as well as remind you of my giveaway on facebook and/or Instagram until TONIGHT at 9. You have the opportunity to win one of 4 awesome prizes !

Goals

I know that it's kinda weird to start yearly goals in February, but since joining It Works! I have been on the goal train!

It's hard to ignore goals with a reward like this:

Who could ignore a $1,000 or $2,000 dollar bonus ?!?

Needless to say, making that Ruby bonus is my NUMBER 1 GOAL!

I also have a few other goals so far this year:

- finish graduate school with a 4.0
- save money each month toward a down payment on a new house
-pay down my car so I can trade it in

Do you have any goals for 2016?

New Adventures!

Hello All! I will have to admit it has been a very very long time since I last blogged on the home side of things. I have been trying to keep up with my teacher blog, lesson plans, graduate school, and making time for the hubby and dogs. It's crazy how hectic life can sometimes get!

I am very excited to announce that I just signed up to be a distributor for It Works! I know many of you have probably seen the pictures with the wraps all over social media, the great thing is... they REALLY work! All of their products do, I have been using the Hair, Skin, and Nails for about 4 months now and can't believe how fast my hair is growing! Normally my hair grows extremely slow, but not anymore!

I am looking for 10 product testers for my portfolio to try the products at wholesale cost for 90 days!! Who has one of the following goals?

- Diminish Stretch Marks (pregnant or not!)

-Someone who wants to turn back time and have a younger looking face!
-Tighten, tone, and firm anywhere from the neck down
-Needs less anxiety, more focus, and anti-stress
- Wants to eat unhealthy meals, such as fast food, but not gain weight
-Struggling with dark circles, puffy eyes, or wants plumper lips

Cricut Explore Air & Mother's Day

Just recently I purchased the Circut Explore Air from Joanne's and I must admit that I am already in LOVE with it! This thing is awesome! It will cut, score, and write! Not to mention that it cuts tons of different materials! I have only used it a few times, but I have made 4 pretty awesome, if I do say so myself, mother's day cards!

This was the first card I made, well the first Mother's Day Card, the Cricut came with the paper to make a card as soon as it was hooked up! This came straight out of the Cricut Design Space, all I had to do was load in the paper and hit go! Easy as Pie!

This card was the next one. The background design was available in Design Space, but the purple was a design I already had online! As I said before, this Cricut will cut AND write, so I chose to have it write "Happy Mother's Day" instead of having to glue each letter down separately.

I made both of these cards tonight- both of these also came straight from the Design Space, but I also customized a quote for the inside!

I can't wait to do so much more with this awesome machine! I have already thought of about 100000 ways to use it in my classroom next year! If you do a lot of crafting, scrapbooking, or even just want to save money on cards for EVERY occasion, I HIGHLY recommend getting one :)

Craziness Called Life

Wow ! It has even forever since I have posted! Life is crazy but it only gets worse when you throw it after school tutoring, new jobs, and graduate school!

Lots of things have happened since my last post.. 1) Daniel and I both purchased new cars-- this was definitely not planned, however his car motor blew up and we had no choice but to get him a new ride. 2) Daniel started a new job in January, and will start a different job with this same company in may! 3) I will finish my 4th class toward my masters degree tomorrow! and finally 5) I have been tutoring 3rd graders after school since we came back from Christmas Break.

I hope that I can get back on a steady blogging schedule when school is over for the year!

I am so excited to say I just signed up for my first kit of doTerra Essential Oils! If you have never heard of Essential Oils, stop what you are doing right now and look them up! doTerra oils are of the purest quality and are safe for children and pets! I plan to slowly refill my medicine cabinet with these oils and replace all the over the counter junk with ingredients I can't even pronounce. I have read and heard so many great things about doTerra, and essential oils in general, that I CANNOT wait to get started.

You can read about doTerra at www.doterra.com, as well as all over Pinterest!

If you decide you are interested in purchasing doTerra essential oils you can do so in 2 ways!

The first way is to buy at retail price. You can do this here at my website

or!

you can sign up to purchase oils at the wholesale price. This does require a 35$ sign up fee, however, the sign up fee is waived if you purchase a starter kit. If you wish to sign up and purchase oils at a wholesale price you can do that here. The form requires that you give a consultants name or number in order to sign up under them. My number is 1560243, Whitney Witty.

I plan to have many many many more post about the wonderful benefits of Essential Oils as I discover them in my own home!
