doTerra Essential Oils!

I am so excited to say I just signed up for my first kit of doTerra Essential Oils! If you have never heard of Essential Oils, stop what you are doing right now and look them up! doTerra oils are of the purest quality and are safe for children and pets! I plan to slowly refill my medicine cabinet with these oils and replace all the over the counter junk with ingredients I can't even pronounce. I have read and heard so many great things about doTerra, and essential oils in general, that I CANNOT wait to get started.

You can read about doTerra at www.doterra.com, as well as all over Pinterest!

If you decide you are interested in purchasing doTerra essential oils you can do so in 2 ways!

The first way is to buy at retail price. You can do this here at my website

or!

you can sign up to purchase oils at the wholesale price. This does require a 35$ sign up fee, however, the sign up fee is waived if you purchase a starter kit. If you wish to sign up and purchase oils at a wholesale price you can do that here. The form requires that you give a consultants name or number in order to sign up under them. My number is 1560243, Whitney Witty.

I plan to have many many many more post about the wonderful benefits of Essential Oils as I discover them in my own home!

Weekend Recap

Wow! I didn't realize how tired I would be after the first week back after Christmas break! I was exhausted! However, I had a wonderful weekend that was both relaxing and fun! Friday night, Daniel and I met up with my mom and grandma for dinner, hit up Walmart for a few things I needed for my school project this weekend, and then headed to his dad's house to play some Rook. Even after getting home late, I woke up fairly early on Saturday morning and started working on my latest project for my classroom. Once Daniel got up, we started cleaning up the house for the evening festivities! Daniel's sister, Megan, turned 21 on Monday so we wanted to take her out for a celebration meal. Then she and her boyfriend came to stay at our house for the night. We had a great time and many many laughs! They didn't leave until around 12:00 today, but Daniel and I were both so tired we took at nap on the couch right after they left :) I have plenty of school work left to do tonight so the hubby is getting pizza and we will have a warm evening IN! I can't wait to see what this week holds in store for us!

Happy New Year !

I absolutely love that I brought in 2015 just hanging out with my husband and another couple, along with their adorable daughter. However, we did stay out late and I did sleep way longer than I had planned. Not that it really matters since I had a bunch of nothin' to do today. Instead I spent the day reading about photography and looking at photography blogs. I'm not sure why this new obsession with photography came from but I am completely encompassed  with it at this point.

Today, I worked on a few more pictures from our honeymoon in the wonderful Ocracoke Island. Gosh I love that place!

I'm quite happy with the way these two photos turned out considering they were taken with the iphone and then edited in Picasa. I'm starting to think my love of editing pictures is going to take over the love of actually taking the picture!

And one picture of the bouquets I made for our lovely rustic country wedding!

Better Late than Never

I love to take pictures, but then they usually end up stuck on my camera never making it to human eyes again. It's crazy, you'd think as much as I love to take pictures, that I would love to show those pictures. The truth is... I love the thought of photography, but I never take any pictures that I absolutely love and want to share. I have loved photography for a while, but never could find time to really "study" it. I'm hoping that having this blog will help me with that love for photography and give me a place to share and store my photos.

Below is a photo a took a while back of my precious pup Karlie:

Although I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to purchase, and delve into the world of, Photoshop. I haven't found a point in my life where I can justify spending that money, so for now I'm using Picasa photo editor.

This is a pic of my other precious pup Kane;

It was very cold and rainy out yesterday so I couldn't go out exploring like I wanted. For now, I'll continue to play with photography from the warmth of my home :)

Before I go I have a few sneak peeks from my honeymoon in Ocracoke Island :)

I L-O-V-E this picture of the light house!

Any photographers out there, I'll be happy to hear your comments, suggestions, tips, etc !

Let's Give This A Shot

I've read thousands of blogs, mostly educational blogs and here lately I have been OBSESSED with "The Pioneer Woman" blog. I love her cooking show and love her blog even more. This new obsession lead me to start  a blog of my own. Mainly a place I can keep memories and photographs as an ongoing documentation of my life.
